He didn’t just make this up out of no where; he’s responding to fans tweeting him saying they cannot access it.

I’m not saying to panic, but to imply he’s lying for streams is uncalled for. This so far seems to be a region based occurrence, and I think it’s fair to assume/prep for something happening in the U.S (though things get blocked outside the U.S all the time); it seems like Nas wasn’t involved in any discussions around it getting removed, so he’s just playing it safe lmao If you are outside the U.S, I would try screen recording the song if you like bopping to it✨

best part

It’s true; my family has an Apple Music subscription, and I just tried to listen to it. This is what I got–

Corporations will always prioritize their homophobic, racist consumer bases. There are so many songs that have much worse content, yet I can listen to them without issue. If it’s about the sexual content, why can I still listen to Dead Girl Walking, a song centered entirely around high schoolers having sex? If it’s about the swearing, why can I still listen to all those other songs tagged as explicit? This is purely because Lil Nas X is a black, gay man who made some conservatives complain.

Remember that before the Holocaust, there were 16 million Jews in the world. They killed more than a third of us.

Remember that pre-war Eastern Europe was a major center of world Jewry, and it had a thriving Jewish society with Yiddish theater, poetry, literature, art, and political activism. An entire society was destroyed.

Remember that before the war, a third of Warsaw’s population was Jewish. The vast majority of those Jewish residents were murdered.

Remember that Salonika (Thessaloniki) was a city in Greece that had a Jewish majority for hundreds of years. It used to be known as Sabatopolis – the Shabbat city – because before electric light, ships going by on Friday night would see a dark shoreline because the residents could not light lights. In the 16th century, it was known as the “mother of Israel” and was a center of Jewish life where Eastern European Jews would come to visit and study. Fewer than 1800 Jews from Salonika survived the Holocaust.

Remember that in Krakow, what used to be the Jewish quarter is now a tourist trap for the groups who come to look at what once was. The Jewish community owns several beautiful synagogues but only regularly uses one because there are so few Jews left. Without the tour groups who regularly pray with them, they would have trouble getting a quorum of ten men by the beginning of the Shabbat service. The other synagogues are museums now.

Remember what we lost.

Cause racial health disparities…

I hope this gets published

It is available for download as a pdf from their website.

If you have darker skin and a medical condition, you can submit photos if your condition isn’t in there.

Also, that download is free. Anyone know how to give this guy money?

This is absolutely true and I’m never gonna not be mad about it. For anyone who wants more details: in the United States, single, widowed, and divorced women were legally required to have a man present to sign for a new line of credit at a bank until 1975.

A woman born in 1975 will celebrate her 46th birthday this year.
